Peshawar: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Minister of Housing Dr Amjad Ali, on Tuesday, announced the establishment of a helpline to resolve citizen concerns about the Jalozai Housing Scheme, according to news sources. The minister asked the public to call on 091-9210534 if they have concerns and complaints.
The decision was made after the minister’s office received several complaints about plot distribution in Phase 3 of the Jalozai Housing Scheme.
According to a statement issued by the Minister’s office, the government would maintain total openness in the balloting process, and all plots will be assigned on merit. In addition, the minister indicated that the verification of Jalozai Housing Scheme Phase 3 applications would be complete by June 15.
Addressing the registered applicants of Jalozai Housing Scheme Phase 3, the minister said that he is personally overseeing the verification and balloting process to ensure total transparency. He further added that anybody who wanted to do forensic verification of the given plots after the balloting, the authorities would cooperate with them.
