Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Development Authority (HDA) on Monday notified the launch of a crackdown against unregistered developers and illegal housing projects in the city, a news source reported. To this effect, the authority has issued notices to individuals concerned after it identified various illegal housing schemes operating in the city.

HDA officials have warned the public against investing in these illegal housing schemes. The media cell of the authority revealed that it had received information about many developers establishing booking offices without approvals for housing schemes from the departments concerned. The officials stated that the booking offices were luring innocent citizens into investing in the projects.

The development authority issued a notification regarding various illegal housing projects in Hyderabad. The notification stated that citizens should determine the status of any project before investing in it.
