Hyderabad: The governing body of the Hyderabad Development Authority (HDA) has approved an increase in its service charges – imposed by the authority’s Planning and Control Department under various heads, according to a news source. The revised rates are into immediate effect.

The HDA has not yet shared any details regarding the increase in charges but it has confirmed that the following services have been increased:
- Land-use conversion fee
- NOC issuance fee
- Internal and external development charges
- Scrutiny charges
- Additional floor area fee
- Developer license application form fee
- NOC issuance fee for setting up CNG stations and petrol pumps
- Fee for re-demarcation of plots
- Renewal of developers’ license Fee
- Fee for extension in NOC period
- Issuance of developers’ license Fee
- Non-utilisation fee (for both commercial and residential properties)
- Transfer fee
- Grount rent
- NOC fee for plots owned by HDA
- Fee for merging apartment units
Reportedly, local real estate developers and builders have also been informed of the decision.

Further, the HDA has instructed the developers of projects with cancelled NOCs to clear their pending dues by April 15. In cases of non-compliance, these individuals would be required to pay their dues in accordance with the new tariff issued following the deadline date.
