HYDERABAD: The Hyderabad Development Authority (HDA) has reportedly launched a large-scale housing project titled ‘HDA City’ spanning 2,800 acres without prior approval of its governing body, which has not been in existence for some time.
The civic authority has already evaluated the management consulting firm for the project, but is yet to take approval of the governing body to undertake the project.
The 2,800 acres of HDA City’s land is part of Gulistan-e-Sarmast Housing Scheme. Reportedly, it is the same area where Mr Malik Riaz has started building Altaf Hussain University after purchasing land from the HDA.
