Lahore: The House Building Finance Company (HBFC) recently announced the deadline for rescheduling/restructuring of debt payments to provide relief to those affected by the coronavirus lockdown — a news source reported.

The deadline to submit the application to delay the payment of the principal debt amount has been set at June 30, 2020; while the application for restructuring/rescheduling debt payments can be submitted by March 31, 2021.
The relief package allows for a delay in repayment of debt for up to 12 months, and also contains provisions for restructuring and rescheduling of the debts — permitting debtors to make their payments regularly.
