Lahore: The Municipal Corporation of Lahore has sent a summary to the Planning and Development Department for the approval of a parking plaza on Hall Road, according to a news source. A PC-1 worth PKR 600 million has already been approved for the project.
The planned four-storey parking plaza will accommodate approximately 4,000 motorbikes. The plaza was proposed to fix the parking space issue in the congested and crowded market of Hall Road. It is one of the many projects in the pipeline to deal with traffic and parking problems in the city.
After the project receives formal approval from the Planning and Development Department, the services of a professional consultant firm will be hired.
