Quetta: Balochistan Chief Minister (CM) Minister Mir Abdul Qudoos Bizenjo stated that the development of Gwadar, Makran, and other areas of the province is the government’s top priority, and all efforts are being made to accomplish this purpose, according to news published on May 9.

During his visit to Muscat, CM Bizenjo met with the former minister Mir Abdul Ghafoor Kalmati and officials of Muscat to discuss several issues experienced by the Pakistanis living there. The minister notified Kalmati about the development of the Gwadar and Makran division. He went on to say that the provision of basic facilities at the doorstep of people is among the main objectives of the development policy.

Moreover, the minister mentioned that illegal trawlers and vessel fishing in Balochistan have been banned. He further added that the borders with the neighbouring countries have been opened and unnecessary check posts have been removed. CM Bizenjo also highlighted that generating job opportunities and ensuring respect and self-esteem of the locals will be protected. It was disclosed that both federal and provincial governments will work for the betterment of the province.
