Rawalpindi: Work on laying the water supply infrastructure is underway in various blocks of Gulraiz Housing Scheme, according to a news report. This project will cost an estimated PKR 30 million and is being executed in response to the requests of its citizens and those living in the surrounding areas.

This will reduce the troubles of Gulraiz Housing Scheme’s residents and will also improve the housing scheme in an aesthetic manner. This improvement is in line with the previous projects to uplift the area, such as widening of the main road and improving its infrastructure at a cost of PKR 26.5 million.

Member of Provincial Assembly (MPA) Chaudhry Haji Amjad Mehmood had these projects approved in the assembly, with the aim of improving things for people commuting around Rawalpindi. This will decrease the daily troubles of commuters and ease the traffic load on the roads. This step will be a welcome relief for the citizens of Rawalpindi.
