Hyderabad: Hyderabad Development Authority (HDA) Director General Fawad Ghaffar Soomro – who is also Deputy Commissioner Hyderabad – has announced that Hyderabad Electric Supply Company (HESCO) has approved a temporary electricity connection for Gulistan e Sarmast Housing Scheme, according to news published on April 05.

It was highlighted that before the establishment of a permanent grid, HESCO will provide power to the housing project on a temporary basis. To this effect, the HDA is empowered to issue a demand notice to the relevant superintended engineer to submit PKR 12.7 million.
After the demand notice is submitted, HDA Office will be get the power connection, which will also be used for landscaping of the park. With this development, the construction and installation of an 11,000 kV feeder in Gulistan e Sarmast Housing Scheme will also be facilitated.

Reportedly, four acres of land in the housing scheme has already been handed over to the HESCO for installation of a grid station.
