Lahore: The Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) has prepared a plan to upgrade the sewerage system in Gulberg and Ferozepur Road in order to facilitate the construction of high-rise buildings in said localities, according to a news source. As per the estimates, the upgradation project for Gulberg alone will cost approximately 4.76 billion.
The experts and concerned officials in WASA believe that prior to initiating the construction of high-rise buildings in these areas, making the sewerage system compatible according to the projected load is crucial.
