Gujranwala: The Government of Punjab has decided to set five more land record centres at the tehsil-level, reported a news source. As per officials, this measure is aimed at helping people procure the documents required for initiating the property sale & transfer process without facing any needless hassles.

These tehsil-level record centres will be developed in Rahwali, Amenabad, Qila Deedar Singh, Nokhar, and Alipur Chatha; while the buildings that are to be used for this purpose still remain to be identified. The authority concerned is hopeful of locating them soon.

This tehsil-level initiative is expected to help people avoid spending hours in long queues for attaining their required land recording documents. Additionally, people looking to get fard documents for property sales and transfers will also be not required to visit Gujranwala frequently.
