Gujranwala: The Punjab Government has given its approval to a developmental project aimed at connecting the city with the Lahore-Islamabad Motorway (M-2) via Aimanabad — a news source reported.

For this purpose, the provincial government has agreed to construct a link road connecting the M-2 with Aimanabad. In addition, development work on major road projects connecting Gujranwala and its adjoining cities will also be initiated soon. These include Sialkot Road, Jinnah Road, and Gondlanwala Road, among other major roads.

As per the information shared by Member Provincial Assembly Shaheen Raza, the provincial government has issued special instructions for the completion of these projects and has instructed the relevant officers to supervise these ventures in order to ensure their timely completion (as per the communicated standards).
