Lahore: Punjab Caretaker Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited the project site of the Gujranwala-link project connected with the Lahore-Sialkot motorway to review the ongoing construction work, according to news sources on July 31.

During his visit, Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi directed the authorities to accelerate the construction work while ensuring high-quality development. He emphasised the utilisation of additional resources to complete the project within the specified timeframe.
The CM was briefed that issues hindering the early construction of the PKR 11 billion project had been resolved amicably. The 15.2-kilometer-long dual-carpeted road is expected to provide efficient access to the motorway, with all available resources being employed to finish it within 90 days.

In his talks with the media, CM Naqvi assured that despite all odds posed by this rainy season, the project would be completed right on time.
In addition to the road project, CM Naqvi announced the initiation of a shuttle service between two hospitals in Gujranwala and addressed the shortage of HR in hospitals, indicating that it would be resolved soon.
