Gujranwala: The Divisional Coordination Committee (DCC) on Monday reviewed 102 new schemes, scheduled for development under the Annual Development Programme (ADB), announced for Gujranwala district – a news source reported.

The meeting chaired by Commissioner Zahid Akhtar Zaman was held at the Commissioner’s Office. Deputy Commissioner Sohail Ashraf, Director Development Ch Muhammad Asghar, Deputy Director Development Dr Ghias and other senior officials of the district were all present at the occasion. Deputy Commissioners of other districts of Gujranwala division and other relevant officials also participated in the meeting through a video link.

Director Development Chaudhry Muhammad Asghar and Deputy Director Development Dr Ghias briefed the attendees with regard to development initiatives. They said that that 32 schemes were being launched in Gujranwala district at an estimated cost of PKR 5193.818 million. They also revealed that the provincial government had allocated PKR 611.735 million for these schemes this year.
