Gujranwala: Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar on Tuesday stated that his government will reach out to the federal government for connecting Gujranwala city with the motorway, a news source reported. He said this in a meeting with a delegation of traders and industrialists.

The delegation of the traders was led by the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) President Sheikh Irfan Iqbal. The chief minster also assured the delegation that his office is always open to them. He issued instructions relating to the problems being presented by them. He added that as the situation improves, more offices will be opened to boost economic activities.

Moreover, Buzdar also stated that a plan has been made to relocate the Gujranwala’s truck stand outside the city – based on one of the issues presented by the delegation of businessmen. He also assured the delegation that Gujranwala-Sheikhupura Road will be built on public-private partnership (PPP) basis soon.
