Lahore: Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan on Saturday performed the groundbreaking of the Quaid-e-Azam Business Park, a news source reported. Speaking at the ceremony, he said that the government would remain committed towards facilitating the country’s small & medium enterprises (SMEs), industrialists and businesspersons.

During the Quaid-e-Azam Business groundbreaking ceremony, the PM expressed his appreciation for the Punjab government’s business-friendly steps and its establishment of nine economic zones. He said that the provincial government’s incentive package was a step in the right direction.
PM Khan further lauded the selection of the site for the development of the Quaid-e-Azam Business Park. He stated that Faisalabad and Lahore were both major hubs of business. He assured that the federal government would play its role in resolving the issues arising in this regard.

Addressing the ceremony, the PM said that the park’s one-window facility would help simplify the procedures for investors and industrialists. Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Usman Buzdar said that the park would create jobs for around 500,000 people.
