Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) on Sunday notified the allocation of PKR 602 million for providing electricity to Sector I-11. According to the details revealed, CDA’s Mechanical-I Division will utilise said funds to construct a ‘Grid Station – Feeder Line’ in the locality.
As per the announcement, the civic agency intends to develop ‘long neglected residential sectors and uplift infrastructure in Islamabad’ as part of a comprehensive strategy. It further stated that it took a number of measures for the development of Sector I-11.

Among CDA’s going works is the construction of four box culverts in Sector I-11/2 and a storm management system in I-11 in a bid facilitate pedestrian movement and improve drainage system in the respective localities.
Moreover, it stated that the development work in Park Enclave’s phase one was set to conclude, while the work on said scheme’s second phase would commence soon; adding that work was in progress on sectors I-12, I-15 and E-12.
