Karachi: The grey structure for Bahria Icon, which is to become the tallest building in Pakistan, has been completed, according to a news source. The mixed-use building that features 62 storeys is located on Shahrah-e-Firdousi, for which the finishing work is already underway.
The mixed-use development will feature a shopping mall and corporate offices. According to details, the shopping mall in Bahria Icon will be inaugurated by the beginning of next year. With this development, Pakistan will join the ranks of the South Asian countries featuring 300 metre tall buildings.
Bahria Icon comprises two buildings, one of which features shopping malls, shops, restaurants, and corporate offices, while the other one, having 42 storeys, features apartments.
