Sargodha: Local Government Deputy Director Chaudhry Haneef Hinjra inaugurated the Green Sargodha project by planting a sapling, according to a news source. Under this project, 100,000 saplings will be planted in the city, for which proper planning has been completed.
All departments operating under the local government will plant trees in their respective office and controlled area. For this purpose, the Forest Department has also delivered the saplings to these departments.
In addition to that, public representatives will also be made part of the campaign by spreading awareness in this regard. The Green Sargodha project will not help deal with environmental pollution but also fight smog.
