Islamabad: Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif emphasized that the Green Pakistan Initiative is expected to attract investment of USD 30 billion to USD 50 billion in the next four to five years, according to news published on July 11.

PM Shehbaz, while addressing a seminar on agriculture and food security in Islamabad, expressed confidence in the revival of Pakistan’s agriculture economy within the next two years. He highlighted the need for a collaborative approach between the government and relevant institutions to initiate a transformative second revolution in Pakistan’s agriculture sector.
The premier mentioned that Gulf countries are ready to invest in the Green Pakistan Initiative, which aims to enhance agriculture productivity and incorporate advanced technology. This initiative is expected to create job opportunities for four million people as well.
