Karachi: For security of the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT)’s Green Line track, the services of Sindh rangers and a private security firm has been sought, reported a news source. The Government of Sindh suspected that the delays faced by the projects has made the Green Line’s infrastructure prone to experiencing damage.
According to the details issued by the sources working on the project, the private firm hired for security services will provide assistance to Sindh Rangers. In addition to that, public access to the Green Line track has also been banned, where those breaching the ban will face legal charges.
All infrastructure of the project including its electricity system, street lights, lifts and escalators will be monitored day in and out where the officers of Sindh rangers and security staff of the private firm will work in different shifts.
