According to the details available, the area on which the Green Line track is to be laid in the second phase is densely populated, and will need greater resources to manage. It is also expected to cause traffic issues for the local residents.
The work on the first phase of the track between Surjani and Guru Mandir is nearing completion. The new track will be a common corridor for several metrobus projects in the city, and will be laid from the Capri Cinema on M.A. Jinnah Road to Sabri Nihari.
