Murree: Under the directions of Supreme Court, Murree’s administration has launched an operation against encroachments and illegal occupation of government land, a news source reported.
Dozens of illegal constructed housing have been demolished in two days of operation to repossess 58 kanals of government land. The operation is being conducted in Korang area adjacent to Murree-Islamabad Expressway.
The boundary walls and fences erected in Korang area by private housing schemes on government land were demolished as well. Assistant Commissioner Murree Imtiaz Khichi stated that indiscriminate action will continue.
