Lahore: GPO Chowk, which was closed for traffic on account of the construction of the Orange Line Metro Train (OLMT) for four months, has been opened to traffic, according to a news report. The train will be given a test run on the arrival of the Chinese Company Norinco’s President on 17th May.
According to details, the traffic on GPO Chowk was closed on 1st January 2018 for construction of the underground track of OLMT. The court had allowed LDA time till 31st March to open GPO Chowk for traffic. Following the orders, LDA had opened one side of the road for traffic on 29th March. Now, both sides have been opened for traffic.
