Teli stated that the task of rebuilding infrastructure in Karachi would take at least four to five years. He added that federal and provincial governments should release the funds required so the development could begin at the earliest.
The BMG chairman highlighted that the NDMA and FWO had the capacity needed for this significant task. He added that the said organisations had the workforce, machinery, and expertise to rebuild Karachi’s infrastructure. He said that that early completion of this project would resolve the grievances of the citizens as well as boost business and industrial activities in the city.
