Islamabad: The government on Monday shared the details on two road projects chosen for completion under the Public Private Partnership (PPP) mode, a news source reported. The decision for choosing the two projects came during a meeting for road infrastructure projects under PPP mode.

Minister for Planning Asad Umar presided over the meeting, which decided to complete the N-25 Karachi-Quetta Road and Mianwali-Muzafargarh Road under public-private partnership.
According to details, the N-25 Karachi-Quetta Road is worth PKR 200 billion and Mianwali-Muzafargarh Road is worth PKR 100 billion. The officials concerned revealed that the expected completion date for design and feasibility studies of both these projects was March 31, 2021.

During the meeting, Umar stated that once completed, both projects would help implement good road infrastructure facilities in collaboration with the private sector. He also directed the relevant departments to complete the design and feasibility studies of both projects by the scheduled date.
