These ponds are located in Kahuta, Chakwal, Kalar Syedan, Kallar Kahar, and Basal Khan. The stored water in these ponds is expected to be used by fire bowsers, so that they do not have to travel far in order to refill their water tanks.
The Sustainable Forestry Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) Ferozuddin and Administrative Officer Muhammad Nauman revealed that this water would also be used by animals and for irrigational purposes.
