Islamabad: The government has released PKR 184.688 billion against total allocations of PKR 675 billion under its Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP), a news source reported. Earlier this month, the government had released 27% of the total allocations.
According to the Ministry of Planning, Development and Reform, PKR 76.67 billion have been earmarked for federal ministries and PKR 18.511 for special areas.
The government released PKR 81.26 billion for the National Highway Authority against the total allocation of PKR 185.2 billion for the current financial year.
Separately, an amount of PKR 5.610 billion has been released for NTDC and PEPCO for which the government had earmarked PKR 33.36 billion in PSDP 2018-2019.
The government has also released PKR 2.78 billion for Communication Division (other than National Highway Authority) against the total allocations of PKR 13.97 billion in its PSDP 2018-19.
Under PSDP, the Railways Division received PKR 8.07 billion against the total allocations of PKR 28.06 billion, whereas Aviation Division received PKR 443.5 million against the total allocations of PKR 3.65 billion.
