According to Economic Affairs Minister Omar Ayub Khan, the government has devised a three-tier approach to improve the pace with which the project is completed on schedule. Satellites will be used to physically monitor the projects, financial audits will be performed, and Gantt charts will be created to measure progress. All projects that have been declared fast track will be prioritised for financing under the financial audit process. The approach would aid in the monitoring of 34 projects in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) worth USD 3.65 billion supported by the Asian Development Bank (ADB), European Union, World Bank, China, France, Germany, Japan, Saudi Arabia, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
