Islamabad: Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan on Friday launched the ‘ICT City’ mobile application to bring public facilities directly to the doorsteps of the city’s residents, a news source reported.

He has further stated that the utility would offer as many as 43 different public services online. He added that this kind of application was even more significant during the current COVID-19 pandemic.
The PM stated that this application would eliminate the inconvenience for the citizens standing in long queues and trips to the government offices. After a trial period of the application in Islamabad, the government would expand it to other cities too, he added.
He also revealed that the ICT City application would allow a rapid response by the administration in cases of goods shortage, including medical supplies.

According to details, the application includes 43 public services. These include emergency services, e-policing, passports, NIC, domiciles, vehicle registration, arms licences, token tax payments, birth and death certificates, and more.
