Islamabad: The federal government on Wednesday launched an affiliate web portal for the Ehsaas Emergency Cash programme to aid applicants in verifying their eligibility for financial assistance — a news source reported.
The portal will allow people to check their eligibility after providing their Computerized National Identity Card numbers. The portal can be accessed at: https://ehsaas.nadra.gov.pk/ehsaasTracking/
So far, PKR 151.952 billion have been provided to nearly 12,556,492 individuals under the government’s Ehsaas Emergency Cash programme, which was launched to provide PKR 12,000 cash support to people affected by the coronavirus pandemic and ongoing lockdown.
Of the total distributed amount, PKR 68.606 billion have been disbursed to 5,668,416 families in Punjab; PKR 45.207 billion to 3,748,536 families in Sindh; PKR 26.077 billion to 2,147,956 families in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa; PKR 7.672 billion to 631,564 individuals in Balochistan; PKR 2.496 billion to 204,279 beneficiaries in Azad Jammu and Kashmir; PKR 1.096 billion to 89,697 families in Gilgit-Baltistan; and PKR 0.797 billion to 66,044 individuals in Islamabad.
