Peshawar: The government has launched an e-governance system in the tribal districts of South and North Waziristan, a news source reported. The government installed the new system through the Performance Management & Reforms Unit (PMRU).

As per an official statement, the PMRU Deputy Coordinator Dr Akif Khan attended a two-day training workshop in the Waziristan districts. Speaking at the event, he instructed the officials present to practice transparency and accountability in all their functions. He also briefed them about the services delivery strategy of open kuchehries, and resolving the issues of the citizens at their doorsteps.
Dr Khan also talked about the Pakistan Citizen’s Portal App, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Inspections App, Revenue Case Management System, and Good Governance Framework. He stressed that the officials concerned must ensure the regular use of said apps, and submit daily progress reports to the Chief Secretary Office through these apps.
