Lahore: Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) on Overseas Pakistanis & Human Resource Development (HRD) Zulfi Bukhari on Saturday revealed that the government was keen on ensuring countrywide gas provision by the end of the going year, a new source reported.

The SAPM expressed these remarks on countrywide gas provision after attending the ground-breaking ceremony of gas supply to Dhok Loharan. Managing Director Sui Northern Gas Pipeline (SNGPL) was also present on this occasion.

During his visit to various areas of Attock City, he ordered the Sui Gas Managing Director to ensure gas supply in these areas on a priority basis. He also the official concerned to resolve public issues regarding the installation of gas meters. Bukhari revealed that the government would soon provide gas connections to the villages of Jand Tehsil situated within a 5km radius of Dakhni Oil Field. He added that the installation of gas meters in Chhapri Village would begin next week, which would benefit hundreds of families residing within the area.
