Islamabad: Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan has announced his administration’s decision to create a ‘Government Business Watch Cell’ to improve the legislative processes in the country, a news source reported. As per the publication, the cell will be responsible for giving preference and advocating parliamentary bills that specifically address public welfare.

According to the information available, Advisor to PM on Parliamentary Affairs Babar Awan has received the task of bringing significant legislation in the house. PM Khan has also directed multiple ministries to expedite their actions for completing the legislative process of pending bills.
Meanwhile, DHA Estate Agents Al Khidmat Group General Secretary Zahid Bin Sadiq has appealed to the government to allow the real estate sector and other businesses to become operational once again. He also requested for tax concessions and facilities to overseas Pakistanis for mitigating the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the economy.

Sadiq requested that the government should assign the status of Real Estate Regularity Authority to the property sector. He added that the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) should also provide at least a 2-year exemption for Gain Tax, Advance Tax, and Withholding Tax.
