Sawabi: Political activists have applied to the government to develop the Mehaban Mountain Beergali region in Gadoon Amazai belt into a proper tourist attraction to boost revenue inflow, according to news sources.

They spoke to the media and stressed that the region has a lot of tourism potential and will attract travellers with its lush green valleys and high mountains that get snow-capped in the winters.

Moreover, they said that Mehaban Mountaintop offers stunning views of Torghar, Abbottabad, Kashmir, Buner and Swabi. The activists claimed that the said mountain sits at an altitude of 2,047 metres and is at the junction of four beautiful districts of Torghar, Haripur, Buner and Swabi. The locals of the area reported that Beergali and Mehban receive tourists, but their volume will multiply if better facilities are provided.
