Previously, the 5-kilometre road section from Jalapur Jattan city to UoG Road was dualized and reconstructed with the funds provided by the federal government. However, no more road infrastructure structure projects could be part of the Annual Development Program (ADP) due to several reasons. According to officials (whose names were not disclosed), the schemes are expected to become part of the ADP as a supplementary grant.
