Islamabad: Minister for Interior Ahsan Iqbal informed the National Assembly supply lines in Islamabad will be replaced in a project for which PKR 400 million has been set aside, according to a news report. He elaborated that many of the existing lines in the city were damaged and leaking and this was why the government was undertaking the project.
He added that the government also plans to bring water from Indus River to Islamabad in a project costing PKR 66 billion to cater to the burgeoning population of the capital.
