Lahore: The Government of Pakistan has solicited expression of interest (EOI) from well-reputed local and foreign development companies to develop the Lahore-Sialkot Motorway on a build-operate-transfer (BOT) basis.
According to a news report, the 95km long, six-lane motorway will connect Lahore with the industrial area of Sialkot. The estimated construction cost of the project is Rs 42,700 million.
Reportedly, the National Highway Authority (NHA) will provide land for the project and if deemed necessary, the pre-qualified firms will be provided with essential documents, which will indicate financial support by the government.
