According to sources, LDA have been assigned the task of preparing development plan for Lahore reagion-2035 by city District Government of Lahore. One of the spokespersons of LDA declared on Monday that ‘Integrated Strategic Development Plan’ of the region would consist of all short term and long term strategies, financial plans and actions regarding the development of region.
He also added that international firms which have relevant experience in preparing strategic and master regional plans have been invited to apply for pre-qualification. He also revealed that multinational firms having their presence in Pakistan would be preferred for qualification. Moreover, those international firms which have joint ventures with local partners would also be preferred.
The official also highlighted that www.lda.gop.pk and www.urbanunit.gov.pk are the sites from where detailed TORs (Terms of Reference) and RFQ (Request for Qualification) can be downloaded. However, the hard copies of required documents and completed RFQ can also be received from the office of LDA’s Chief Metropolitan Planner Waseem Ahmad Khan at 476-D-II, Main Boulevard Johar Town by Aug 27, 2012.
