Lahore: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has approved the layout plan for LDA City and changed the location of the planned Twin Towers from Jail Road to Ferozepur Road, according to a news report. The decisions were taken in a meeting of LDA’s Governing Body, during which several infrastructural development projects were also approved.
Presided by Advisor to Chief Minister Khawaja Ahmed Hassan, the meeting approved a detailed layout plan for LDA City, and also decided to move the scattered industrial units that fall in the society to the same premises near Khana-Kacha Road. For acquiring land for this purpose, the meeting agreed to reserve PKR 900 million.
The Governing Body also changed the previously picked location of the planned Twin Tower, i.e., Jail Road, and decided to move to Ferozepur Road instead. Further details in this regard are awaited.
