Peshawar: The Cantonment Board Peshawar is continuing its anti-encroachment drive and has thus far, removed 250 makeshift stalls from Gora Bazaar, stated a news report. This drive was headed by Magistrate Qurrat-ul-Ain Wazir at women shopping centres. Members of the Cantonment Board removed more than 150 kiosks and makeshift stalls from the Gora Bazaar, located in the Peshawar Cantonment area.
These stalls have been closed after notices were served to shopkeepers to remove these stalls as well as illegal signboards, but no action was taken by them. This is a part of ongoing anti-encroachment drive in different parts of the country.
