Lake City Holdings (Pvt) Ltd, the face behind the project, has proved its mettle by offering a serene, well-planned community. Moreover, Lake City is replete with excellent investment opportunities. Today in this post, I will shed some light on investment options in Blocks B and C of Sector M-7.
Block B
This block features residential plots of 5, 7, and 10 marlas. The developer has handed over possession for 7 and 10-marla plots and possession for the 5-marla category will be granted sooner rather than later.
Obviously, I would suggest investors who are the lookout for good returns in the short term to consider these 5-marla plots. Please note that the current market price of these plots ranges from PKR 2,500,000 to PKR 3,000,000.
According to Zain Ul Abideen of Property Gate, possession for the plots in question will be given within 2 months. This means you can expect a price hike of up to PKR 400,000 or even more after possession.I have also learnt that the development work is being carried out at a good pace in the block.
Block C
Five-marla plots have recently been launched in Block C of Sector M-7 on instalments. The instalment plan, spread over 2.5 years, is as follows:

Why should you invest?
There are a few important factors that have led me to believe that you should consider the suggested options.
Firstly, the expansion of Raiwind Road is already on the cards. The completion of the project will boost prices in Lake City.
Secondly, the development of another access road to Lake City is underway and it will provide an easy approach to the society from Khayaban-e-Jinnah. According to a source, the road project will be completed within 3 to 4 months, which will be beneficial for the society.
Furthermore, the Lahore Ring Road will have an interchange at Adda Plot on Raiwind Road. This development will also become a catalyst for price surges in Lake City.
And last, but certainly not the least, the society will have its own power plant to ensure round-the-clock provision of electricity to its residents.
So from where I see Lake City, it will prove to be one of the best housing communities in southern Lahore both for investment as well as living purposes. Even then, I would suggest you do your homework before taking any investment decisions.

Yes, you can expect the price go beyond PKR 140 lacs. Consider Jubilee Town and LDA Avenue I, which are located on Raiwind Road. The price of 1 kanal plots located on Main Boulevards in both the localities is more than 2 crores.
Lake City is relatively better than LDA Avenue I and Jubilee Town. I personally believe, you should see the trends for another couple of months and then take some decision, because I am expecting price boost in the locality and I have stated the reasons in my post above.

I think I should wait to see the trends till Alternate Route completion and been operational. If there is an impending construction boom just about to arrive in Lake City (which is very likely), then it would not be a good idea selling this investment for now.

I would like to purchase 5 Marla plot where I can start construction of my house immediately or after couple of months. Currently I have 5 marla plot in Bahria Nasheman, Ferozpur Road and its value is around 32 lakh. But in Bahria Nasheman you cannot consturct single story house you have to construct double story house. I dont have enought budget. Currently I have budget to build single story. Do you suggest that i sale out that plot and buy plot in Lake City and after couple of months when possession will be given I start construction of my house. Or any other society do you suggest for the same purpose. Someone suggested L Block Khayaban-e-Amin, but this society has multiple issues with LDA and among the owners as well. My total budget including Bahria Nasheman plot is 42 lakh. Please give your valuable advise.

Well considering your requirement and budget, I would suggest you sell your plot in Bahria Nasheman and buy a plot in Lake City, but you need to confirm if Lake City allows single-storey construction.
Infrastructure of Lake City is also stupendous. And I think by making this move, you can appreciate your money as well.
But please take a very informed decision. Visit Lake City yourself and try to get as much information as you can before entering a final deal.

Khayaban-e-Amin is undoubtedly a good project for investment as well as living, but I suggest you stay away from doubtful properties to avoid any untoward circumstances.
Don’t but any litigated property even if you are getting it a throwaway price.

Recently lake city had announced payment plan of 5 marla in M-7C of Rs. 3,000,000 with downpayment of Rs. 300,000. Quarterly installment was Rs. 270,000 for 2.5 years.

Dear Zain what is the future of Lake City M8. I have a 5 marla plot in M8. Booked back in 2009, paid all the installments. But still waiting for possession. Should i sale this plot and consider other options like Bahria Town OR wait for some more time. I want to start my home.
According to a society official, possession of 5-marla plots in M8 will be handed over within 1 o 2 months.
So I suggest you wait for 2 months because the value of your property will most likely increase after possession, InshaALLAH.
