I have been updating you on the ins and outs of LDA Avenue I from time to time. Various people ask me the status of their plots and raise questions on the litigation issues in the society. Today, however, I have good news for all the allottees of LDA Avenue I. Let me raise your curiosity a bit; after reading this post, many of your confusions about the society will be removed.
So, what is in store today?
The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has announced that it has completed road infrastructure, electrification, installation of the sewerage system and water pipelines, and other development work in the clear area of LDA Avenue I. Furthermore, the authority is in the process of handing over possession for 9,197 clear plots in the society.
The LDA has also provided the list of clear plots on its website. Please, visit the following URL to check if your plot is clear:
List of clear plots in LDA Avenue I
To get possession of your plot, you need to visit the 1st floor of LDA’s one-window cell located at 467-D, Main Boulevard, Khayaban-e-Firdousi, Johar Town, Lahore. The authority is completing the possession procedure within a day, all under one roof.
In order to avoid litigation issues, the plot owners should get the possession of their plots as soon as possible.
Documents required
You will need to bring with you the following to the one-window cell:
1) Intimation letter for possession sent to allottees by the LDA
2) Filled application form to get possession of plots (you can download the form here)
3) Processing fee, any remaining charges and increased land charges (if applicable). You need to clear these dues through bank draft or a pay order drafted in the name of Director General LDA.
4) Original CNIC with two copies
5) Original allotment letter with two copies
6) Transfer letter with two copies

Dear Mr Nawaz,
If you have got an alternate plot, you should cherish it, as you might have might have waited for a long time for possession. Even then I would suggest you to first visit your plot, see its location and in any case get the possession. After that, if you do not intend to build your home, you can sell it you plot.
Secondly, you dont know what will happen in case you reject the proposition.
Please take possession of your plot…..Do not lose it.

If you do not like the location, you must sell the plot and take out your money to invest somewhere else, I have seen the backside of the L Block, the area is underdeveloped and has crop cultivated there.

I don’t think you will get your previous plot. If it were a clear plot, the LDA should not have allotted an alternate plot. So, I think you should accept the plot and sell it if you do not like the location.

First of all i am thankful to your useful informations about LDA a enue_1 allottes.I personally visited LDA avenue_1 withrefrence to possession letter recieved from LDA authorities about my allocated plot #584 block K & surprise to see situation was exactly the same as before one year even no slight change.
Only a small width road has been laid but no street lights provided no electric poles almost all plots have dipressions about 10_20feets no foot paths.Addationality a gated labour colony is existing in front of K block houses however not declared in the official location map.

Yes, please take possession. At least, you will have your confirmed plot in your hand then. So, take possession and do not delay it.

Although it took longer than usual for the investments made here to mature but the coming few months will prove that it was all worth the wait. Currently, there are rumours circulating the market that LDA is to announce the possession of LDA Avenue-1 plots by the end of this month i.

It’s too long that there is still not even a single house. People having there possession letters are not interested to construct house there.
Its the only area which is same as its 4 years back. Even there is no electricity or no security.
LDA just make a fool of all govt servants.

I heard LDA sent letters which we have either not received or have missed. However, we have all other official documents. What are the costs involved in acquiring possession per plot, procedure and documentation required.

i want sincere feedback regarding the lda avenue 1 litigation.
1.lda has lost all the cases in high court.
2.there are rumors that lda don’t have enough land to relieve the rest of effecttes.
