Lahore: A women-centric global technology start-up competition ‘She Loves Tech’ is scheduled to be held in Pakistan for the fourth time, and is offering women-led tech start-ups a chance to win a USD 15,000 equity-free cash prize, investment opportunities and other benefits, according to a news source published on August 21.

The start-up firms that are ‘in the early stages seeking seed, angel or a round funding (under USD 5 million)’ and have a practicable product (which is beyond its conceptual stage) are eligible to apply. These products should target female users and be aimed at solving key issues for women.
The fourth ‘She Loves Tech’ competition will be held at over 30 locations and is being hosted by the CIRCLE Women Association. This year’s edition is looking for start-ups from verticals like fintech, enterprise solutions, education, health and wellbeing, cleantech and sustainability, consumer and retail, food and agritech, and smart cities.

Moreover, top mentors will be assigned to the finalists to hold office hours regarding topics like marketing, business planning, fundraising, etc. Male entrepreneurs with start-ups positively impacting women or technology start-ups are also encouraged to apply.
