Lahore: The recently appointed Commissioner Lahore, Zaid Bin Maqsood, has been informed that GIS mapping for the Lahore Revamping Program will conclude on Friday, as per a news report from May 3. Commissioner Maqsood, convened a briefing session on Thursday to discuss ongoing projects.

Lahore Deputy Commissioner (DC) Lahore, Rafia Haider, briefed him on various initiatives including the anti-polio drive, dengue prevention, and efforts to combat smog.
At the occasion, the commissioner affirmed that the Chief Minister Punjab’s initiative will meet its deadlines with mapping and dashboard tools. He was further informed that Lahore comprises 25 revenue circles and 251 patwar circles across its five tehsils.

Commissioner Masood was also briefed that five out of nine registrar offices have transitioned to e-registry centers, with over 14,000 registrations processed since January 2024.
