Gujranwala: The Gujranwala Development Authority (GDA) has prepared a feasibility report for the construction of 13 major road links in all districts of the Gujranwala Division, according to a news report published on September 9. These roads are to be constructed under the private-public partnership (PPP) arrangement.
As per the details, the construction cost of these roads are estimated at PKR 49.79 billion and would be developed in Sialkot, Narowal, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Hafizabad, and Mandi Bahuddin.

Following are the details on these road projects and the estimated funds required for their development:
- Dualisation of Gujranwala-Hafizabad Road at an estimated cost of PKR 18.14 billion
- Dualisation of Fareed Town Road, Pasroor Road, and Sialkot Road linking Lahore-Sialkot Motorway (M11) at an estimated cost of PKR 1.76 billion
- Construction of road linking Awan Chowk Bypass and Khanqah Dogran with Lahore-Islamabad Motorway (M2) at an estimated cost of PKR 3.88 billion
- Construction of a 16 kilometre-long dual carriageway linking Aimanabad Road with M11 at an estimated cost of PKR 3.9 billion
- Construction of the road link between Alipur Chowk and Alipur Chatha at an estimated cost of PKR 2.15 billion
- Expansion and rehabilitation of Kharian-Dinga Road in Gujrat at an estimated cost of PKR 2.5 billion
- Construction of the road linking Mandi Bahuddin with Head Jago at an estimated cost of PKR 3.92 billion
- Construction of the road connecting Kot Hara with Pindi Bhattiyan at an estimated cost of PKR 5 billion
- Construction of road linking Wazirabad with Sialkot Road at an estimated cost of PKR 1.8 billion
- Dualisation of the road connecting Sialkot with Pasroor at an estimated cost of PKR 1.63 billion
- Rehabilitation of Muridke-Narowal road at an estimated cost of PKR 6.42 billion
- Construction and rehabilitation of road linking Shakargarh with Narowal at an estimated cost of PKR 5 billion
