Gujranwala: The Gujranwala Development Authority (GDA) has rejected applications submitted by developers of 14 private housing schemes and land subdivisions for issuance of NOCs, a news source reported.

In addition to dismissing these submissions, the civic agency has instructed these developers to refrain from marketing their respective projects, carrying out development work and selling property units.
The said societies and land subdivisions are located in Kotli Johad Singh, Mandiala Waraich, Nowshera Warkan, Komonki, Scheme Aroop, Ladhewala Waraich, New Mehlo Wala, Mandiala Tega, Sensera Goraya, New Abdal Mor, and Mohafiz Town.

According to details, the GDA has directed the developers of these housing projects to immediately cease their marketing activity, on-going development work, as well as buying/selling process in these societies. The development authority further stated that it would take legal action against violators.

It has advised the general public to refrain from investing in housing schemes whose applications have been turned down by the development authority.
