Gujranwala: The Gujranwala Development Authority (GDA) has ended the lease on hundreds of shops and offices, a news source reported. New policy will be announced in the next governor body meeting.
GDA had established Trust Plaza in 1989 and sold ground floor shops and leased the shops and offices on the first and second floors. Similarly, GDA Commercial Plaza had been constructed in 1997 and the shops and offices on first and second floors had been leased. Now, GDA has ended the lease on all of them. GDA officials have stated that these steps will help increase revenue for the authority.
