Astor: The Gilgit-Baltistan Chief Minister Hafiz Hafeez ur Rehman has applauded the present government for successfully incorporating socioeconomic development programs in the area, according to a news report. While speaking at different meeting attended by various delegations, Hafiz said that the development process was being carried out at a fast pace, and that the projects are expected to be completed in the stipulated time.
While giving details about these projects, Hafiz highlighted that the government is giving jobs to the youth, and that plans are being made for the protection of forest cover and wildlife in the area. He also added that Menkal road, Army Public Inter College, 30-bed hospital, and land for a sports ground are all underway.
