Gilgit Baltistan: The Gilgit Baltistan (GB) government has decided to launch the Gilgit Manawar housing scheme for government employees, news sources reported on November 20.

The housing schemes will be built across 170 kanals in Gilgit Manawar. The project will include a variety of residences for the federal government and GB employees working in the federally governed province. In this regard, a meeting was held to conduct the project’s first computerised draw. The meeting was chaired by the Federal Minister for Housing and Works Maulana Abdul Wasay. It was decided that the work on the project will be expedited to accommodate the employees and provide them with the best residential amenities possible.

It is important to mention that the Gilgit Manawar housing scheme is being launched by the Ministry of Housing and Works and under the Pakistan Housing Authority (PHA), which will oversee the development work of the project.
